 DRDO Junior Research Fellow Recruitment: 10 vacancies announced at NSTL Visakhapatnam.

Applications from eligible candidates for the award are invited from the following Junior research grants initially for a period of two years (extendable according to the rules) in a Monthly stipend of Rs. 31,000/- + Home rental allowance as allowable under the rules.

3.	Junior Research fellow(JRF)	Computer Science & Engg.	3	Graduate Degree in professional course B.E./B.Tech. (Computer Science & Engg. / Information Technology) in first division with a valid NET/GATE score. OR Post Graduate Degree in professional course M.E./M.Tech. (Computer Science & Engg. / Information Technology) in first division both at Graduate and Post Graduate level.

 

Important ant Notes:

 (i) Valid NET/GATE score is essential for B. E. / B. Tech. candidates.

(ii) The Degree and Post Graduate Degree should be in same Discipline (Branch/Subject).

(iii) The number of Fellowship may decrease or increase.

(iv) Future vacancies may be filled with panel candidates. The panel will be valid for one year from the date of publishing results.

 

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:-

 1. Upper age limit: 28 years from the application closing date. The upper age limit will be Relaxing for candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC as per the orders of the Government of India. 

2. Those who possess the prescribed educational qualification acquired from recognized University/Institutions only need to send application for Interview. NSTL reserves the right not to select any candidate, if suitable candidates are not available.

3. Candidates working in Public Sector / Autonomous Bodies companies must be in possession of a certificate of No Objection from the competent authorities at the time of the Interview.

4. It should be noted that the granting of the scholarship does not confer on the scholarship recipients any right to absorption in DRDO.

5. How to Apply: Interested candidates should download and complete the application form on the prescribed format (available in the "what's new" section of the website www.drdo.gov.in). the The application duly completed and signed along with the documents below must be sent by Message "The Director, NSTL, Vigyan Nagar, Visakhapatnam - 530027" to contact this office at before the closing date. Incomplete or partially completed applications must be rejected.

a) Self attested copies of marks sheets and certificates in support of Educational Qualification

b) Self attested copy of Birth certificate or Matriculation/10th class certificate in support of

c) Date of Birth

d) Self attested Copy of valid NET/GATE score card (if applicable)

e) 02 recent passport size photograph (taken within one year)

f) Crossed Indian Postal Order OR Demand Draft of Rs. 10/- drawn in favour of “The Director, NSTL, Visakhapatnam”. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC are exempted from this payment.

 

6. The selection of applications will be made by a duly constituted selection committee.(discipline) and candidates will be shortlisted for interview in a ratio of 1: 4 on the basis of your percentage of grades earned in the qualifying grade, i.e. M.Tech OR B.Tech & NET / GATE punctuation, etc.

 7. Shortlisted candidates residing in and around Visakhapatnam will be invited to attend physical interview, to be held at NSTL, Vigyan Nagar, Visakhapatnam-530027. Interview of Candidates for external stations will be conducted via web-based video conferencing over the Internet. More information / instructions about the interview will be communicated to the shortlisted. candidates by email only. The mobile number and email id mentioned by the candidates in Your application form must remain active until the selection procedure is completed.

 8. Candidates must guarantee internet connectivity, webcam and necessary software at the end to attend the online interview and NSTL will not be responsible for any connectivity failure or Communication failure during the online interview.

 9. Based on the performance of candidates in the interviews (online and offline), a panel of selected candidates will be prepared for the available vacancies and future anticipated vacancies. The Panel would operate for a period of one year from the date of declaration of results.
